What is 100% Cricket?
100% Cricket is an authentic platform that aims to change perceptions, create heroes and excitement, and support women in cricket. The campaign aims to increase the visibility and engagement of women’s cricket during and outside ICC Events, positioning women’s cricket as a viable sustainable commercial platform and reinforce ICC’s position at the forefront of the global women’s sport movement.
Women's cricket is one of the strategic priorities identified by the ICC, with the aim to 'Accelerate the growth of women's cricket, delivering 250 million incremental fans by 2032'.
To achieve this, the ICC's Women's Cricket Strategy identifies four action areas: Programmes, Profile, Participation, People.
The 100% Cricket campaign aligns strongly with the Profile and People action areas of the Women's Cricket Strategy. It does so through various projects aimed at increasing the visibility of the women's game, creating female role models that fans can connect with. It also looks to support women working in cricket and create more female leaders.
